The New iPhone 4's Retina Display - Is it truly That Good?

The new "Retina" display is literally the centerpiece of Apple's new iPhone 4. Every other feature that the phone has fades away in comparison to this literally astonishing screen. The first time I laid my hands on the iPhone 4 I literally believed that the phone was a feature of the display and not vice versa.

Much of the magic comes from the implementing of ground breaking technologies which allows pixels to be only 78 micrometers wide. As a result, the new iPhone has 326 pixels per inch, four times more then any other former model.

The new screen looks crisp and sharp even while high level zoom in. Apple has also used something called Ips (in-plane switching) for the screen. This, as well as the excellent dissimilarity (four times great then former models 800:1 ) makes it viewable from impossible angles.

In order to protect the screen, the citizen at Apple have made is face layer from extra glass which is also used in the aviation industry. This not only makes it more scratch unyielding and durable but also more oil unyielding thus development it less prone to fingerprint marks.

I literally believe that Apple has set a new benchmark with their "Retina" display that a lot of other manufacturers will try to reach. It literally is revolutionary and is by far the best feature of the new iPhone. I mean yes, the "Face Time" is also pretty cool and the body is sleeker and great seeing then in former models but there is no way any of these features will carry on to overshadow the screen.
